Transforming Pottery Workshops with Experience Design

I had the privilege of collaborating with The Kreative Kiln, a pottery studio, to elevate the value of their workshop experience by applying experience design principles.

The project aimed to enhance the 2-hour workshop experience at The Kreative Kiln I conducted comprehensive research, utilizing observations, interviews, and triangulation techniques like A/B testing to identify key issues. After identifying the most significant needs I developed a solution that would bring greater value to the customer. I then created and tested a prototype with a small sample of 60 college students. As a result of the testing, the solution proved successful, especially among college students who expressed a willingness to pay $35 for the enhanced experience.

As an experience designer and creator of people-orientated events, I've learned that impactful solutions emerge from creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication. This project with The Kreative Kiln exemplifies my dedication to crafting experiences that meet and exceed the expectations of clients and their audiences. I am excited to bring this passion and expertise into future collaborations.
